I believe almost any e-commerce site has the potential to convert its visitors in to buyers on a much higher rate.
This was one project where I proved it.
In the beginning this store was already getting decent sales and converting quite well. The store itself didn’t have big obvious issues with it, it contained leaks but mostly it was well done.
This project started off as a conversion rate analysis and developed in to a long-term working relationship which lasted for eight months.
Now I am happy to say that this store is running a newly customized conversion optimized theme and the initial results have been amazing:
-Checkout/order rate has increased from 28% to 60%
-Cart abandonment rate has decreased from 72% to 40%
